Nursery Painting Complete

Jared finished painting the nursery earlier this week!  I did help a little because we were able to open all the windows in that room.  We also bought a nice fuzzy rug, and moved our old dresser into the room.  That will also serve as the changing table.  Now we need a crib, and the rocking chair.

The Pack 'n Play!

We bought our first big baby thing!  It's about time, the baby is due in 74 days.  I can't believe it!  We bought a Pack 'n Play with a bassinet and changing table on top.  It will be great for travel, and those first few months.  Jared was off doing some business school alumni stuff, so I put it together myself.

September Austin Visit

This past weekend we went to Austin.  This will probably be our last visit before we're going to visit the Bechle boy!  I can't believe it!  It was really a great visit.  They have done a nice job with their new apartment, and the nursery is looking good!

We enjoyed some appetizers, and the husbands enjoyed some drinks at the Oasis on Lake Travis.

We had dinner at a nice French restaurant, Justine's.  Loved it!  We had to wait a bit to be seated.  Jared and Nate were pretty serious.

Vetty and Joel Visit

Several months ago Vetty and Joel visited!  I didn't take many pics, but here is one of the three pregnant sisters. You can tell this was a while back, all of our bellies are quite a bit bigger now.

Family Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago Ree threw a baby shower for Domi and me!  It was great fun, I'm so glad we were able to have a shower together.  Thank you so much Ree!

We got a lot of Seuss stuff from Grandpa and Grandma Roe.  We plan to have a Seuss themed nursery.

It's a BOY!!!

We had our 19 week scan today, and everything went great. The tech was super nice, and actually talked to me while she did the initial scan before Jared was allowed into the room. I read that they don't normally talk much at this imaging center, so it was a pleasant surprise.

It was so amazing to see the baby move. So amazing. I hadn't seen the baby since he looked like a little gummi bear!  Jared and I are so happy and excited!

Here are a few pics. He is very much unmistakably a boy, so I will actually be comfortable make a boy room for him!
